Unlock 1.0: Municipal Permission Now Necessary to Enter Kathmandu Valley

The government has made the following arrangements for vehicles entering the capital city from other districts and vice-versa.If you’re going out of the valley:

• For personal work, submit an application to the District Administration Office – Kathmandu along with the documents for the purpose of work.

• For government or institutional work, contact DAO-Kathmandu with the letter of recommendation of the concerned organization

If you're coming inside the valley: 

• Apply to the District Administration Office of your current location with the letter of permission given by the municipality in which you reside inside Kathmandu district. You also need to submit infection risk assessment and travel justification documents along with to complete your application.
